How does Barosi guarantee the quality of Milk?

We have partnered with an independent Agency called O’Right, which uses sensors and IOT (Internet-of-Things) devices to check the quality of Milk daily at our Bottling Plant. Only Milk which passes our quality check is bottled for delivery. A Daily Milk Report is generated, which is visible to our subscribers on our website, making the process absolutely transparent and error-free.

Barosi Farm is spread over 2 acres at Village Jatauli, Near Pataudi (Tehsil), District –Gurgaon, Haryana

What type of cattle does Barosi Farm breed?

Barosi Farm breeds Desi Cows – Gir, Sahiwal, Crossbreed Holstein Cows and Murrah Buffaloes.

From where can I order Barosi products?

Presently Barosi delivers its Milk and FarmBox in Gurgaon district only. The other products of the Natural Kitchen are available pan-India and can be ordered from our Website or through our Delivery Partners.

What Products does Barosi offer?

Barosi offers 3 Ranges of authentic products to customers:

  • Farm-fresh Milk
  • Natural Kitchen – a selection of authentic food products for your Kitchen
  • Farm Box – a customizable collection of Fresh Fruits & Vegetables, delivered to your doorstep

How many variants of milk do we have?

Barosi milk is available in three variants:

  • Desi Cow Milk (A2 cow milk, 4% Fat)
  • Crossbreed Cow Milk (3.5% Fat )
  • Buffalo Milk (6% Fat)

Do I have to necessarily register on Barosi?

You can surf and add products to the cart without registering, but only registered shoppers can checkout and place orders. Registered members need to be logged in at the time of checking out. They will be prompted to do so if they are not logged in.

How do I register?

You can register by clicking on the "Sign Up" link at the top right corner of the homepage. Please provide the information in the form that appears. You can review the terms and conditions, provide your payment mode details and submit the registration information

Can I have multiple registrations?

No. Each email address and contact phone number can only be associated with one Barosi account.

Can I add more than one delivery address in an account?

No, you can have only 1 Delivery Address for your Barosi account.

Can I have multiple accounts for members in my family, with different mobile number and email addresses, but same or common delivery address?

Members in the same family can have the same address provided the email address and phone numbers associated with the accounts are unique.

How is my order processed?

As soon as you place an order, the following actions take place:

  • You will get an SMS notification of the confirmed order along with the expected delivery.
  • We receive your order information and the delivery timing. The team will prepare your order, pack it and generate the bill.
  • Once the order is ready to be delivered, we will dispatch a delivery person to pick up the order and deliver it to you.
  • Once the order is successfully delivered, you will receive an SMS confirming it.

Throughout the above stages, our Order Fulfillment Team continuously monitors the process so that you get your desired product within the time we committed to you. In case the order cannot be processed for any reason whatsoever, we will reach out to you as soon as possible.

What is “My Account”?

My Account is the section you reach after you log in on Barosi WebApp. My Account allows you to track your active orders, credit note details as well as see your order history and update your contact details.

How do I reset my password?

You can login through OTP and then you can change your password in “My Profile”

How is the milk packed?

The milk is packed in 1 and 0.5 litre glass bottles and is delivered in jute bags.

Do I have to return the glass bottles/Jute bags?

Yes, the glass bottles are recycled. You need to rinse the bottle and put it back into the jute bag. Both get recycled and allow us to deliver the next day’s milk.

What if the glass bottle breaks?

The glass bottle is environmentally friendly but brittle. We sincerely urge you to handle it with care as broken glass could potentially cause injury.

Will I be charged for broken bottles?

There is a charge of Rs. 50/- per broken bottle, on a case-to-case basis.

When does the milk supply start?

We will start delivering milk the day after the date of subscription if you subscribe before 8 P.M. If you subscribe after 8 P.M., we will start the delivery the on the 2 nd day that follows. For example, if you subscribe at 10 A.M. on the 1 st of Jan. 2020, your first delivery will be on 2nd Jan. 2020. If you subscribe at 9 P.M. on the 1st of Jan. 2020, your first delivery will be on 3rd Jan. 2020

What if there is a price revision?

We will announce product Price Revisions in advance. The existing prices will continue till the changeover date. In case of price revisions, the milk will be supplied at the new price effective from the date announced.

Can I pause or temporarily opt out of the milk delivery?

Yes - Milk delivery can be stopped and resumed, at any time with prior intimation up to 9:30 P.M. on the previous day.

Can I ask for less/ more milk temporarily?

Yes, the milk quantity can be temporarily increased or reduced, within the subscription credit.

Can I change/add/stop a milk variant?

Yes, you can change your choice of milk – start/stop or increase/reduce, with prior intimation up to 8:30 P.M. from the previous day, subject to subscription credit and availability of the product(s).

How would temporarily changing the milk quantity or milk variant affect the duration of my subscription?

The delivered quantity will be adjusted against the subscribed quantity, on a daily basis. A monthly delivery statement will be available on our WebApp indicating the subscription credit in milk quantity. The delivery will continue uninterrupted within the subscription credit.

How long is the subscription valid for?

Subscription is valid for 90 days. The unused subscription amount will not be refunded.

Can my neighbour pick up milk on my behalf?

Yes - in exceptional circumstances and with prior intimation, the milk delivery can be made to a designated neighbour.

How do I add/remove/cancel products after placing my order?

Once you have placed your order you will be able to make modifications till 9.30 P.M. a day prior to delivery. Please contact our customer support team for any modification of order.

Is it possible to order an item which is out of stock?

No - you can only order products in stock. We try to ensure availability of all products on our website. However, due to supply chain issues sometimes this is not possible.

How do I check the current status of my order?

Currently, the only way you can check the status of your order is by contacting our customer support team.

What You Get Is What You Pay For…

At the time of delivery, we advise you to kindly check every item. Please report any missing item that is invoiced. As a benefit to our customers, if you are not available at the time of order delivery, or you haven’t checked the list at the time of delivery we provide a window of 48 hrs. to report missing items. This is applicable only for items that are invoiced.

How will the delivery be done?

We have a dedicated team of trained delivery Staff, and a fleet of vehicles operating across the city, who ensure timely and accurate delivery to our customers.

How do I change the delivery details (address to which I want products delivered)?

You can change your delivery address on our website once you log into your account. Click on "My Account" at the top right hand corner and go to the "Update My Profile" section to change your delivery address.

How much are the delivery charges?

There are no delivery charges for subscription based products.

Do you deliver in my area?

You will be able to check if we deliver in your area at the time of checkout when you enter your address. If we are unable to deliver in your area - we will inform you before checkout is complete.

Your milk is delivered 7 days a week, 365 days a year, unless there is an exceptional emergency situation.

When is the milk delivered?

The milk is delivered between 5:00 A.M. and 8:30 A.M. every morning.

How do I pay?

  • Offline:Cash

What are credit notes & where can I see my credit notes?

Credit notes reflect the amount of money which you have pending in your Barosi account to use against future purchases. This is calculated by deducting your total order value minus undelivered value. You can see this in "My Account" under credit note details.

Are there any other charges or taxes in addition to the price shown? Is GST added to the invoice?

All prices shown on Website are inclusive of all Taxes.

Is it safe to use my credit/ debit card on Barosi?

Yes! It is absolutely safe to use your card on Barosi. We have an additional authentication pass code Verified By VISA (VBV) or MSC (Master Secure Code), which has to be entered by online shoppers while paying online using Visa or MasterCard Credit Card. It means extra security for customers, thus making online shopping safer.

Returns & Refunds

We have a "No Questions Asked” Return and Refund policy, which entitles all our members to return the product at the time of delivery, if due to some reason they are not satisfied with the quality or freshness of the product. We will take the returned product back, and issue a credit note for the value of the returned products, which will be credited to your account on the Site. This can be used to pay your subsequent shopping bills
